Freya's Home Accents

While I enjoy making crafts of all sorts, I especially fell in love with the art of decoupage while living in Morocco, studying with renowned Danish artist Sanne Busk,  who has since returned to Denmark.  I applied the art to practical items including tissue and other boxes, including hinged boxes suitable for jewelry and open-top boxes for pens or other utensils.

These decoupage boxes are custom-designed to your color palette and special interests. Family photos, flora or fauna and travel mementoes are ideas for your unique home accent. All boxes are wooden and are finished with polyurethane to protect against dampness.

Tissue Boxes

All tissue boxes are custom-designed with your color palette and special interests in mind. Samples are shown here. You may email photos or other images you wish to feature on your custom-designed box. Some ideas are favorite hobbies, animals, themes such as beaches, shells, books or trees. Personal photos or other images (painting reproductions) are also options. 

Cube tissue boxes measure 5" x 5" x 6-1/8" H and fit most standard commercial US cube tissue boxes.

 

 

 

 

 

Custom boxes make an ideal personal gift for a special person or occasion (birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, holiday themes). I look forward to discussing your special home accent project with you to ensure a unique and memorable keepsake.

Cost: Each custom tissue box is $65.                         

Please allow 1-2 weeks to produce.

 

Other boxes will be priced upon discussion with you.

 

My classes are also an option for you to create your own items in my Manhattan apartment. 3-1/2 hour classes begin at $85 per person and include all materials (except your personal images).
