Biography

Originally from Washington State and Arizona, I moved to New York City in my twenties to pursue music and art.

I have traveled extensively throughout the world including Latin America, Europe, India and West and North Africa and love to find unusual treasures off the beaten path.

I have traveled the world over but was completely captivated when first encountering Morocco. Having returned countless times, I moved to Essaouira on Morocco's Atlantic seaside in 2014 where I happily lived until 2017 when I returned home to New York City.

I was a music major and have a BA in Art History from the University of Arizona and a Certificate in Millinery from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology. I am a classical pianist who regularly performs chamber and solo works. I am a jewelry designer as well as a crafts enthusiast and enthusiastic home cook enjoying exotic food and teaching Moroccan cuisine in New York.
